This Booking Policy outlines the terms, responsibilities, and expectations for renting an Idyllic Haus studio. By completing a booking, you agree to the following.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required prior to the rental date. By booking, you authorize Idyllic Haus to charge the payment method on file for the total rental fee, along with any applicable additional charges outlined in this policy.
Cancellation & Refunds
Bookings are non-refundable within 24 hours of the scheduled rental start time.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund, minus any processing fees.
If Idyllic Haus must cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control (including emergencies, force majeure events, or required repairs), renters will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Studio Access & Time
Access to the studio is limited to the time period booked. Renters must vacate the space by the agreed end time.
Entry instructions and access codes will be provided upon payment confirmation.
Overtime
If a renter exceeds their booked end time, overtime may be charged at 1x the hourly rate ($100/hour), billed in 30-minute increments and subject to availability.
If additional time is needed, renters must contact Idyllic Haus in advance. Unauthorized overtime may result in additional fees and may impact future booking eligibility.
Studio Condition & Cleaning
Condition Upon Departure
Renters are expected to leave the studio in the condition outlined in the reference photos posted in the space. This includes:
Cleaning Fees
If the studio is left in poor condition or requires excessive cleaning, a $75 cleaning fee will be charged to the payment method on file.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Large amounts of trash, set pieces, or materials requiring special disposal may incur additional charges beyond the standard cleaning fee.
Damages & Responsibility
Renter Responsibility
Renters are fully responsible for any damage to the studio, furniture, equipment, fixtures, or premises during their booking. This includes missing or stolen items.
Repair & Replacement
Renters agree to cover the full repair or replacement cost (at new retail value) for any damaged, missing, or stolen property. Documentation and cost estimates will be provided.
Reporting Issues
Any pre-existing damage or equipment issues must be reported immediately upon arrival via photo or text. Failure to report may result in renter liability.

All equipment and furniture must be used with care and returned to designated storage areas. Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately with photo documentation.

Guests & Capacity
Renters are responsible for all guests, clients, and assistants.
Occupancy must comply with fire code regulations.
Renters are liable for guest-related damages or violations.
Noise & Conduct
Noise levels must remain reasonable.
Maintain a professional, respectful environment.
Do not disturb neighboring tenants or businesses.
Security
Keep doors locked during and after your booking.
Do not share access codes.
Report any security concerns immediately.

Advance written approval is required for:
Liability & Assumption of Risk
Use of the studio and all equipment is at your own risk. Idyllic Haus and its representatives are not liable for personal injury, illness, death, loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
Renters assume all risks associated with studio use and are responsible for securing and insuring their belongings.
Indemnification
Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless Idyllic Haus, its owner (Rebekah Wriedt Ridings), and representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from studio use, guest actions, or policy violations.
Insurance
Renters are encouraged to maintain general liability insurance. For commercial or large-scale productions, proof of insurance may be required, naming “Bekah Wriedt Photography” as additional insured.
Force Majeure
Idyllic Haus is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, emergencies, or utility failures. In such cases, rescheduling or refunds will be handled at our discretion.
Photography & Content Usage
Idyllic Haus may document the studio for marketing purposes. Renters retain full rights to their creative work. Permission will always be requested before featuring renter content on Idyllic Haus platforms.

- Returning all furniture and props to their original positions
- Returning all equipment (lighting, stands, backdrops) to labeled storage areas
- Removing all personal items and props
- Cleaning up any spills, messes, or debris
- Cutting and removing used backdrop paper
- Placing all trash in designated receptacles

If the studio is left in poor condition or requires excessive cleaning, a $75 cleaning fee will be charged to the payment method on file.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Furniture or equipment left out of place

- Sheer and blackout curtains
- Select mid-century modern furniture
- Backdrop stands and basic equipment
- Chairs and styling furniture
- HVAC (heating and cooling)
- Wi-Fi
- Bathroom facilities
Not Included
The following are not included or may require additional fees:
- Seamless backdrop paper ($20 per session; advance notice required)
- Photography or video equipment
- Specialized props beyond what is available in the studio
- Equipment Care
All equipment and furniture must be used with care and returned to designated storage areas. Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately with photo documentation.

- No permanent alterations to walls, floors, or fixtures

- No subletting or sharing access

- Large-scale set builds
- Animals
- Events exceeding 8 people
- Activities outside standard photo or video production
